First The Cinema, Then The Zombies

Here's a minor rules hack for Zombie Cinema that I originally posted to Story Games and that met with general approval:

In the first round of scenes, the zombie marker starts off the board. No conflicts can occur in the first round. At the beginning of the second round, place the zombie marker on the zombie start place. Play proceeds normally.

This little tweak helps establish characters and relationships before the zombies show up, so you have a baseline to work from when they do.
