Portland, Beer, and Me
Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 10:51PM Gwen and I will be in Portland, OR, next week. She’s attending Sock Summit and I’m coming along for the ride. We’re going to take a few days to explore the city together, but she’s in classes during the day on Friday. As a result, I will probably be hanging out at the Oregon Brewers Festival. Anyone interested in joining me?

Other:
Visit Saturday Market (Saturdays and Sundays on the waterfront, under the Burnside bridge)
I don't know if I can get away from work next Friday but I'll try.
If you like sour beers don't leave Stumptown w/o a pilgrimage to here:

If you're a foodie and want a special meal while you're here, consider Gruner, Paley's Place or Screen Door.
For Saturday afternoon, find a food cart pod with a beer vendor. Two that I know of are at SE Division and 32nd(-ish), and SE Belmont and 41st. The pod on Belmont has a creme brulee cart as well.
