Variant Rules for A Penny For My Thoughts

Three sets of variant rules for Penny, inspired by my friend Ted.

In the Write Memory Triggers step, write only three (instead of five) and in place of putting them in the hat, either:

  1. Pass all three face down to person to your left, or
  2. Pass all three face down to the person to your left, who randomly chooses one and passes the remaining two to their left, etc., or
  3. Pass one of your choice to your left, one of your choice to your right, and one to the person across from you. (Modify as necessary for three- and five-player games.)

When it is your turn to be the Traveler, choose randomly from the Memory Triggers in front of you.
